Mary's Story
Workplace
Comptroller at Ocean County YMCA since 1988 where WE BUILD STRONG KIDS, STRONG FAMILIES, STRONG COMMUNITIES. Hope to retire in two years, move to a warmer climate.
I always wanted to be a LAWYER when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a GREAT idea. As it turns out, they were RIGHT.
PLAYING GAMES ON THE INTERNET is my way to relax and blow off steam. I like to play canasta, spades, gin rummy, hearts, and casino slots.
The wildest thing I ever did in school? Um, duh, I was in a school musical and sang a song from West Side Story.

le to deal with the day-to day.
I have lived in sooooo many places. I was born in Puerto Rico. Dad was an officer in the Army. Left PR and moved to Ft. Benning Georgia, to Bronx, New York, to Mainz, Germany, to Ft. Hood Texas, to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to Woodside Queens to Toms River, NJ to present. When I moved to Woodside, I had a Texas drawl and they put me in a speech class cause I spoke funny.
The persons from my past who I'd most like to see again is Rudy Mediavilla, Bonnie Groveman and Angela Selvaggi. I went to Sr. Prom with Rudy. Bonnie and I used to go to dances together in Rego Park and Angela and I were buddies.
