Mary's Story
I didn't graduate from HSHS, but I was in the HS System from Grade 1 - 11. Got married before my senior year, moved to Houston TX and was graduated from M.B. Smiley HS. You would have loved my schedule there.
Had two sons, divorced, then remarried my first husband. Lasted a few years, then parted again.
Married five years later only to be widowed less than 3 years later. Said NEVER AGAIN, but God had other plans.
Met a nice guy and we have been married 24 years. B...Expand for more
lended together, we have 2 sons, 4 daughters, 13 grandchildren and 6 gr-grandkids.
We live 35 mi from Houston and are active in a Missionary Baptist Church. With a lot of electronic helps, I play the organ there.
We are both retired, getting older like everyone else, but still enjoy life. We take care of my almost-88-yr- old mother who lives with us.
I continue to be interested in writing art, reading and music. For a few years I wrote and sold Confession Stories.
