Life
I got a request to complete this so I will. . .
2 months out of H.S. I joined the Coast Guard. Im glad I did - it was worthwhile and not at all like the typical "military" (or other branches) in that it was a normal job (but keep in mind I was never stationed on a ship) that only required you wear a uniform or at least it was before 9/11. . . that was rough day. I went to college while in which worked out b/c Uncle Sam paid for it and I used the GI Bill to pay for Graduate school (MBA) when I completed my military contract.
I met my husband during that time and married him (6 weeks after we met) on a beach in Kauai, Hawaii! Word of advice- don't try to plan a wedding in 3 weeks unless you really want to! Although he's a little older than I, I definately don't regret it - we've been together for 9 years this year! I think that my youth and his wisdom make for an interesting lifestyle. We lived in San Francisco, CA, then moved to San Antonio and now near Charleston, SC. All job transfers but that's what makes the world go 'round!

girls and although I think that we've completed our family - he wants more?! We'll just have to cross that bridge when we get there ;-)
Currently Im the CEO and CFO of the household! That is the extent of the use of my degrees. Don't really have plans to go to work until our youngest is at least in preschool but if he has it his way and another comes along, then who knows! I'd like to go to work (for a conversation with someone who isn't in diapers) but otherwise I can't complain. "They" say being a mom is the most important and hardest job around - I'd have to agee. My perfume usually consist of milk and sweet pea slobber- now its takes a real woman to tolerate that!
My day consists of carpool, mommy and me playgroup and soccer practice or ballet lessons (if I don't get the days mixed up). If you see a stressed out woman in a Volvo wagon driving back and forth and back and forth- wave . . .it's probably me!
Anyway, I wish the best for you- whomever you are reading this,
Mary
If we knew each other, feel free to send me you email address- I'll respond;-)
