Mary's Story
I married my "high school sweetheart", Michael Cannon. We have been married for 5 yrs now. Together we have 2 beautiful babies. One girl, Piper, who is 3 and my boy, Josiah, who is 19 mos.
I currently work as an in home child care giver. This allows me to still be with my kiddos during the day. Which is awesome. Plus its a great job with great kids and great pay to provide for my family.
I wouldn't say I'm 100% different from how I was in school. But I definitely have change quite a bit. I'm not as shy as I used to be. But I still am shy to an extent. Just as I was back then... really helped me to stand my ground for what I believe in and who I believe in. I also stand up for myself and others I care about alot more. And I am very opionated now and voice it.
I still try not to be judgemental of others and am still a great listener. I've had a crappy first 19 yrs of life and feel I am in no position to judge anyone. I had to grow up way before my time. But thankfully I had Carmen to get me through those years. And am very greatful to still have her in my life. And I am most greatful to my husband who is working his hardest to give not only me but our children a great life. Because of how I grew up I know what kind of mom I want to be and how I want my kids to love and remember me.
