Life
After graduating from Ball High in 1978, I attended Texas A & M University. In 1982 I graduated with a BS in Education and Curriculum. I moved to Houston and began teaching elementary students in Houston ISD. In 1986 I married but in 1990 I divorced (no children). In 1990 I received a M.Ed. from the University of Houston in Administration and Supervision. I worked in Houston ISD as a classroom teacher, new teacher supervisor and staff developer until 1993. In 1993 I left HISD and became an education consultant at Region IV ESC. In 1997 I moved to Cy-Fair ISD to become a school administrator and married Robert Jackson whom I met at our church. nd live in Cypress, TX. I worked at Lone Star College-Tomball and Lone Star College-University Park as a Professor and the Director of Teacher Education Programs until 2013. I volunteered at my children's schools Salem Lutheran & Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball until 2018. My mother passed away in 2007 and my dad moved from Galveston and lived with us until his passing in 2013. From 2015-2019 I owned my own college advising business. Currently, I am enjoying retirement! Besides being with my husband, close family and friends as much as possible, I enjoy time studying my Bible, reading about Christianity and various related issues, gardening, participating in conservative clubs, and organizing pictures into scrapbooks.
