Life Hi, I'm MaryBeth Mavis, was "Schuler" long ago. Almost 21years now in fact. We live in the country, about 40 miles north of Columbus, Ohio. Morrow County, where we live is absolutely beautiful. It takes 5 miles to get anywhere, the library, kids school, nearest country store. I have to drive at least 14 miles just to go to the grocery store. It is so worth it because of the constant beauty and serenity. We live on 21 1/2 acres. Our home sits up a long 600 ft. driveway and looks down on a beautiful pond, barns, animals, etc. We keep up about 5 acres around our home and beyond that we have about 5 acres of field and another 10 acres of trees, which right now are gorgeous in colors. I couldn't ask for a better place to live and raise our 7 children. When I met my husband in 1983 he had a daughter, then almost 2yrs old. While raising her we had 6 more children in just 9 years. Our lst together is now 19 yrs old. Our 4 oldest are daughters and the youngest are 2 sons. Now ll l/2 and 10 years old. Two of the children are out of the house for now, still leaving 5 children that we are raising from 17 down to 10. We have a very lively household, busy and crazy. I stayed home for 16 years with my children. I then went back to work 2 1/2 years ago in banking. I stayed with that for a year and then worked a year in service work, waitressing.
