Mary's Story

Gosh...I've been all over the board on what I've done. Fortunately for anyone reading this...I'll just stick to the present. I've been married for 38 years to an O'Rafferty Grad I met at LCC. We have two grown sons and live in Kalamazoo. I commute to East Lansing and teach full-time at MSU. (Writing Rhetoric and American Culture.) During the week I live with my 88 year old mom. e from a day of teaching to a home cooked meal, we watch the news...wash the dishes..(She washes...I dry) and pray the rosary. We're always taking prayer requests...send them this way. All spare time is spent preparing for classes or reading students' papers. I love what I do...but the trifocals, loss of hearing and sore feet are great handicaps for a teacher. That's about it....how about you?
