Mary's Story
Graduated from nursing school - Walter Reed Institute of nursing and traveled for 3 years in the army nurse corps - NJ, Korea, San Francisco. Met lots of wonderful people. Met an army officer in Korea, got married and moved to Vermont. We built a stone house out in the country, had 2 children, and I worked for years at the NICU here in Burlington.
Divorced in 1996, it provided me an opportunity to meet different people, travel more, and try my hand at some different nursing jobs - school nurse, family...Expand for more

Kids are 20 and 22yo, away at school or in NH, they are awesome. I moved closer to town into a cute little condo in a renovated old building. Travel to NJ, NY, Florida, New Mexico and Oregon to visit friends and family. Back at work in the NICU, 12hr shifts afford me time to travel and have fun. Just this year had reunion with some Niagara friends and a wedding where there were friends from St Brendan's and from Avenue M. A friend at a wedding this weekend told me about this website. mpc
