Mary's Story
moved to alaska in 1981.married and divorced twice.divorced for 2 yrs. noe.have 3 terrific kids-ages 21,17,12.moved back to ore. in mat 2009.living in independence.cant wait for 1st einter of no snow shoveling!LOL!hoping to catch up with old friends and maybe to run into a few!have worked the last 28 yrs. in human resources-assisting physically and mentally disabled folks with all their needs and wants-wonderful career!have been temporarily disabled due to unfortunate medical issues-ill be fine and back into workforce soon!i still look the same(a few gracefully earned gray hairs),positive upbeat personality and glad to be back!!
i will never forget being busted at mcdonalds(julie)farm house having a drinking party in the hayloft when we were supposed to be building a float!remember all you partners in crime!!
I always wanted to be a caretaker when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
cooking,visiting,playing games,playing darts.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have cellphone, cig's, and cold drink to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
my oldest daughter whos had to suffer through 30+ surgeries and day to day pain due to cronic illness since the age of 9-shes doing well and a strong,caring person-she beat all odds-im very proud of her!

If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to taxes, then spend the rest on my family, debts and luxurious life style.
My current age is 47. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be sat for life. I was so completely DILUTIONAL11.My weirdest job was making,processing caviar by the tons with japanese supervisors in alaska-"HUBBA-HUBBA"
I share my home with my children, which I find comforting.
in 1987 i went to codova ice worm festival in cordova alaska-unknowingly to me my brother- in-law thought it would be funny to enter me.ironically after having to drink 14 cans of beer,it came down to me and him-whoever finished guzzling 4 beers down first won!in no time flat i won!!won the 1st annual beer drinking contest at chili powderhouse bar in cordova!!as of last winter,my photo is still on display!!deffinantely would had furthered my education if i had a doover.
My first job was at banks,ore, where I got paid $.75 to pick strawberries. What I remember most about it is early mornings,long rides on bus!.
