Update: Living in Palm Springs for the past 3+ years after leaving the Bay Area to "downsize" to something affordable. The trajectory has Oakland (20 years) to Berkeley (1.5 years) to Sunnyvale (2 years) to Saratoga (19 years) to Burlingame (24 years)...and now this place! I've been married to my second (and last) husband for 36 years, and while we had some big plans for our post-move life once we finished working on the house the plague tamped those down. We're looking forward things opening back up in 2022! I made the decision to keep working longer than usual to fund various home improvement projects and future travel. My "day job" centers around technology communications, and I've had the great privilege of being able t work out of my home office since 2004. My husband retired before we moved south and is pursuing his photography. I'm still working on my "to experience" list, probably because I just keep adding on to it.
