More about Mary:"Live in Northern VA -- across the river from Washington, D.C. I was born and raised in Fairfax, VA but lived in Colorado for twelve (12) years. Colorado truly is God's country and I left a HUGE chunk of my heart there.
Have a SUPER sweetie, Jim Smith, who puts up with me and even loves me in spite of myself! He is truly a Godly man and he lives and loves our Lord like few people I have ever known. We attend Calvary Road Baptist Church and are as active as our lives allow.

ne daughter (Bambi); Jim has one daughter (Hope) and two grandchildren (Jessica and Jonathan [wife Jasmin]). Together we have a surrogate daughter (Sylvie) and two dear and growing grandsons -- 13 year old twins, Ethan and Stuart.
We also have a wonderful ten-year old, long-haired blond kitty who is named Eggnog! Our grandsons thought of his name and it is certainly appropriate. I am working at adding another kitty to our family. We lost our elder guy, 17-year old Tripod, in December, 2010. We miss him so much.
I spend extra time making greeting cards in my disorganized studio; love to design and work in my gardens as time/health allow; still working on the decorating or the house we built in 2007. We love to travel and squeeze in as many getaways as we can. In 2011 we spent time at the beach in April, Sweden in August, TN in October and plan to go to Williamsburg in December. All of our travel has to be worked in around Jim managing the rental properties and Bambi's schedule for caring for Eggnog. She and her fuzzy babies (6-month old Chloe and 3-month old Oliver) move in and take over for us. What a super help that is for us!
