Life
Hi. I think often about many of you. It would be fun to hear some news from everyone. Ed and I have been married for 32 years. We have 5 kids (the last 2 adopted from Korea when they were babies.) They are all thriving..but getting old. John will be 36 this summer! Our youngest is Brian, now almost 15. Where did the time go? The picture (a few years old) shows Ed, Mary, Erin (Michael's wife), Michael, John, Becky and then Julie and Brian in front. We have 3 granddaughters, and all the kids are busy and happy. John is a PhD researcher at the research triangle in NC, Michael an electical engineer for Qualcom here in San Diego, Becky a teacher and no...Expand for more
w stay at home mom, Julie an artist/ history major just finishing college, and Brian a brilliant and funny future high school freshman. Erin is a family practice doctor, and Becky's husband Jorge (not in picture) is an x-ray technologist. I have been a teacher for a bit of my life, but mostly I have been a mom/grandma. That is my claim to fame I think. Ed taught college for more than 20 years, and he is now in semi-retirement we hope! My mom died 2 years ago at age 93, and my dad still lives near us, loving math as much as ever....at age 93. We have a big mutt, a scroungy dachshund, and 2 cats. Life is good. Would love to hear how other people are doing.
