Mary's Story
Mary's schools include Winthrop High School, University of Southern Maine(MS) and University of Southern California (MPA). Work experiences included local public schools in Maine, Universities- Utah State and UNC-Chapel Hill, VA Dept of Education. A change of direction in the '80s to private sector, state legislature and then 25 years in economic development work at state and local levels in Virginia. More about Mary:"When I look back at my life, I find I chose expereinces that were inspired by the many books I read in High School.....living and working in the Western and Southern USA. My hat is off to all the great teachers that believed in me and helped me to believe in myself.".
