Mary's Story
I moved to Sebastopol in 1968 after leaving an emotionally abusive relationship. I love it here! I was married to my children's father for 11 years, then married the "love of my life". Tragically he died in a car accident in 1985. I've been single since then. I was able to stay home while my children were growing up then worked as a sales rep for a book company. Now retired, I volunteer with the Sebastopol Police and our local hospital. I have a 7 month old Golden Retreiver I'm trainin...Expand for more
g as a therapy dog for both those organizations. My youngest daughter lives with me and we are a host home for teenagers aging out of the foster care system. We currently have 3 boys here with us.
My biggest regret about high school is that I was so shy and had little self confidence which then limited me from making new friends. I've grown a LOT since then.
Other than my volunteering, I love training my dog, gardening (+landscaping), photography, and camping.
