Mary's Story
Mary is from La Mesa, California. Mary's schools include San Pedro High School and San Diego State University. I graduated from SDSU in 1980 with a teaching credential and proudly taught elementary education for 36 years until I retired from San Diego Unified School District in June of 2017. I currently volunteer my time at Hardy Elementary where I spent the last 14 years of my teaching career working with first and second grade students

ur lives. Her wedding was the highlight of our year in 2018. She and Her husband, James live in Playa Del Rey with our 2 grandpups, Koda and Sophie. We try to visit with them as often as possible!
Music Mary likes includes Jazz, Country, and of course The Eagles, Billy Joel, and Fleetwood Mac. Books Mary likes include To Kill a Mockingbird, The Art of Racing in the Rain, The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, and many of Jodi Picoult's novels.
One of Mary's favorite quotes is:""The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing"".I also love Walt Disney's quote: "If you can dream it, you can do it!"
