Life We have two boys, our girl died after she was born & now a girl that's like a daughter and her family. So, we still have seven grandchildren, but as of the end of 2007 we now have a total of five great-granddaughters, two great-grandson. Our family just gets bigger & bigger. In September 2005 our oldest son's wife died at the age of thirty-six at their home after spending almost seven months of the year in the hospital. We've all had our ups and downs over the years but we seem to always manage to pull through with the support of family & friends. I had to take early retirement in 2003. I'm also keep busy doing embroidery on my Embroidery Sewing Machine my husband bought me last year. I'm in the process of making an embroideried compass star quilt & I babysit two of my great-granddaughters some of the time. My husband retired in March, so I have him home 24/7 now. Life is great! I had another great-granddaughter born October 2010 just before my husband's B-Day. What a great gift! In November 2010, my suddenly past away. We had started remodeling our home just before it happened so I've been working since then to get the work done soon. It's been hard to get through this year without Vic, but my boys, my brother-in-law have been a big help. Update: Sept. 1, 2014, Just had #13 Great-Grandbaby on 8/26/14 and #14 due in Oct. 2014. My oldest son is getting married next year, I'm so happy for him. Things are good with my family & I. Update: had to have a third back surgery in Nov. 2014. The metal parts put in 2009 broke & had to be replaced plus had a vertabra...Expand for more
