Life
Dear Andress Alumni-
I've just found the time to relay how my life turned out since graduation in 1975. A few year after graduation, I became an avid runner, then began seriously pursuing training for Marathons. Since then, I have run several 26.2 marathons including New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Albuquerque, Alamogordo, and numerous local races. From my running career, I became very active in the El Paso Community. I served as Race Director for the TransMountain Run from 1988 until 1994,
Kidney Foundation run/walk and Susan G. Komen. Unfortunately, as I've become older, so have my legs so I'm currently resorting to walking and weight lifting.
I have 2 beautiful daughters; Briana, 21 and Nachelle, 17. My oldest is in Colorado going to college and Nachelle and I are moving back to El Paso due to ...Expand for more
family illness.
I worked in banking from 1977 until December 1990 and worked my way up from a teller to an Assistant Vice President. I completed my bachelor's degree, graduated from UTEP in December 1992, began teaching in January 1993 and have taught since. Summer of 2001, I went back to college to pursue a master's in Administration, graduated again from UTEP in 2003.
My older brothers (class of 74) and I went back to the 30th class reunion last summer '04 and had a fabulous time!
For those of you who knew my parents, they are still living at the same address in El Paso, Texas and are in their early 80's. Their health is good, so I hope they are still around for awhile. I seem to have covered all information for now. Hope you are all doing well yourselves.
