Maryann's Story
Life
The last 30 years have been busy busy busy! So much has passed and there is so much more to look forward to. I live in Montclair New Jersey and I work far too hard. Most of my time is spent making doctors rich. I do a good job of it but as a result, my 'play' time is limited.
I live with a wonderful man. We travel whenever we can and we spend a great deal of time at our lake house in Pennsylvania. I have two daughers, Dana and Lori that are both married and I have two grandchildren. Hard to believe that I am a grandma.....and yet it is the most wonderful experience. Who would have thought that any of us crazy flower children/hippies would actually grow up and become responsible adults....parents and grandparents?
Time passes far too quickly. And yet, I wouldn't trade this ...Expand for more
time of my life for anything! I still write poetry and I love to read. My professional life is successful and my personal life has certainly had it's ups and downs. My first husband died after 23 years of marriage and my second marriage was less than happy. I finally met
my soul mate at 50!! And I am so very grateful that I could find love at this age. Life is good.....and I am so happy that I am a product of the sixties. It was fun and daring and exciting. We knew how to have fun and although my life is very different now than 30 years ago, I still know how to have fun and I still stand up for any cause that I feel is worthwhile. My heart has not changed much and I find that I want to rekindle old friendships if possible. So contact me. I would love to hear from you.
