Maryann (Hart)'s Story
I attended South Beloit schools for four years. Transferred to Beloit Memorial HS. Graduated from UW- Whitewater in 1974 with a Major in Physical Education/ Health/ Dance, and Minors in Democracy, Psychology and Sociology/ Anthropology. Have been married to my husband Bill, who is my best friend, for 45 years. I have one brother who lives in Beloit. I have a son-Sky and a daughter-Casey. We have four grandchildren, We moved to Jones, Oklahoma in 1981. Jones is a country town 25 miles from Oklahoma City that is located in Tornado Alley. 2017. Bill and I spend our retirement days at the lake wakeboarding and jetskiing and vacationing 2 times a year in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Become a role model to today's kids. I had three sayings for my students. " Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results'. 'Dishonesty is like a boomerang. About the time you think all is well, it hits you in the back of the head'. And 'Amateurs work until they get it right! Professionals work until they can't get it wrong'.
