Matt's Story
Life
I am currently living the hamlet of Sanford North Carolina surrounded by goobers. Here real tree camoflage is considered formal wear and fried catfish is fine cuisine.
I am in the Army and stationed at Fort Bragg. I spend a lot of time in other countries, normally the crappy ones that no one wants to go to.
I am married to a wonderful woman, Sloan Summers Duffy and we have a bunch of kids.
I am looking forward to seeing some old friends at the reunion if we ever have one.

free so I did it exoecting to spend a couple of years in Germany, get out, go to college and then grow up. After 3 years in Germany, I re-enlisted for Washington State as that seemed like a great place to spend a few years enjoying the beautiful mountains of the North West. And it was. I decided to give Special Forces a try, push the envelope a little, and I made it and have spent the last 12 years getting paid to be a big kid. Camping, hiking, shooting guns and other military things all over the world. For the most part its been a great time. I will be retiring from the Army in less than 4 years and I plan on teaching High School.
