Matt's Story
I married Janeen Berg in 1980. We spent 1982 building our first home, a house just off the Auburn Black Diamond Road, a couple of miles past Sam's. Janeen spent 1983 working for Auburn School district as a teacher while I designed, excavated, pour concrete, nailed, sided and plumbed.
We have been blessed with three boys and a girl. James Allen (named after my late brother) Michael Geole, April Marie and Shawn Robert, in that order
I started and own Washington Alaska Roof Systems in 1984, to this day, ...Expand for more
which developed in to a distribution business called Duradek Northwest. It is there where I manage a 5 state territory, selling handrails and waterproof decks systems, you may hear my ads on the Mariners or read articles I've written in the Northwest Living Magazine or Affluent Living.
I still play guitar and sing but now at a church in Auburn, located at the old Tomas Academy, called Turning Point. I play keyboard as well or should I say not as well. Its loud and purposeful, come join me some time.
