Matt's Story
Life
Lets see if we can get caught up a little bit:
After high school I headed down to San Diego for College and I've been stuck here ever since. I studied Fine Art at SDSU where I earned both my BA(painting) and MA(sculpture) degrees. Upon finishing school, I expected to find some nice little liberal arts college somewhere where I would settle down and teach art, but of course that's not what happened. Instead I somehow stumbled into the car design buisness when I was recruited by one of the American "Big Three" auto makers, after I while I moved to one of the Japanese "Big Three" where I've been for the past 20 years.
I met the girl who would become my wife while I was in grad school, we have now been married for 25 years, and we have one lovely daughter who is currently a sophmore at CSU Chico. g relationship I have maintained with the Rhode Island School of Design, I like to think of Providence,RI as my home away from home.
My primary interest for having fun is making music. Over the years I have become a fairly decent Blues/Rock guitar player. I have played in numerous cheesy rock and blues bands during the past 4 decades, and I've been blessed to have worked with many truly fine musicians. I also enjoy singing classical choral music, I have performed with the Palomar Chorale and with the San Diego Bach Collegium, and of course my church choir.
Well... Life's been good so far, I've been able to travel a bit, I do interesting work, I have a loving family ,a few close friends, and a comfortable home. But since my life is still a work in progress, I guess this bio is too, so perhaps I'll try to add to it if I can think of anything else to say.
