Matthew's Story

After High School I went to the University of Arizona. After graduation, I moved to Long Beach, Caliornia. There I met my future wife Janine while playing volleyball. We stunk at playing worse than Tom Cruise in Topgun. But we improved and played in tournaments across Southern California. We were married in 1994. She was diagnosed w...Expand for more
ith breast cancer shortly after. She beat it. We waited 5 years to have Cameron, a girl. Six months after the birth, Janine was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She fought it again for 3.5 years but it was too aggressive. I'm now a single dad. On the bright side, Cameron is an awesome kid. I hope the rest of you are doing well.
