Matthew's Story
Life
In 21 years of the US Marines, have seen the world and 5 out of 7 continents! I have a wonderful wife and two great kids who have become quite worldly in our travels. Never thought that life would be this good in 1979. In Nov 2000, we toured Malaysia and Thailand. We rode ELEPHANTS along the Mekong River. In Aug 2001, we climbed Mt Fuji! In Nov 2001, we were touring Seoul Korea and then Singapore! Love that KIMCHEE and spicy fried rice! I retired in May 2002 and it's been a ball. I can truly say that I've BEEN THERE and DONE THAT! UPDATE: Son follows Dad's steps into the Marines. Going where 99.99% of his generation will never go!
Now I'm finally retiring early to Wyoming!

I've traveled so much of the world without a college like UofM, and their online studies, I'd be stuck!
Thanks to the US Gov't for paying for my BA/MA! Even paying them back with service was worth it.
Workplace
1. Retired from the Marines.
2. Retired from the Feds as a Special Agent in classified work. Rewarding.
Military
The US Marines, the BEST thing that ever happened to an undisciplined and wild man-boy! After 13 weeks of HELL at Parris Island, SC., they made a boy into a man. A love-hate affair that continues to this day. The Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, EARNED...NEVER GIVEN!
I retired a Gunnery Sergeant, and started/retired from a second career!
