Kristine's Story
Life
I have been married to Matt for the past 13 years. Have 3 kids: Antoinette 21, Cassondra 12, & Damian 10. I have tried the following "career choices" while trying to decide what I really want to be when I grow up. Was manager of Brighton & Howell H&R block for 2 years, worked for Matt Sova, CPA for about 6 months (he was a great boss), worked in a Tool shop as a Quality inspector & HR director. Helped them get Q1, Tesqa, & ISO 2000 approved, so made quite a few trips to the glass house & GM headquarters for awhile. I work for an Creative Solutions Inc, an accounting software company, as the Payroll Product Lead and have been there for 6 years. I have gotten the following degrees: Accounting BBA, Management BBA, Economics ABA, BCT (Business Computer Technician) certificate. I do some private accounting work from my home as well as build/repair computers and net...Expand for more
works and teach computer classes, & just for fun I dabble with AutoCad 2000 doing mechanical drawings.(see a pattern of computers here? =)). I've lived in Cohoctah for the last 15 years, but am looking for some property (at least 5 acres)closer to Ann Arbor. I think my next goal is to try my hand in engineering.
The story continues in 2008.. I'm still at Creative Solutions/Thomson/Reuters, but now I'm the Payroll Operations Manager helping run their new payroll service bureau. I've got a beautiful 2 year old grand daughter named Kaitlynn... everyone was right, it's much more fun to be a grandparent, and we love bouncing on the trampoline together. It's strange watching your kids grow up & have their own kids.. never in a million years thought I'd miss when my kids were young (and not mouthy).. Everyone is doing fine, and we're just waiting for the spring weather.
