Matthew's Story
Life
I'm heading into my 25th year at Jefferson College, just south of St. Louis, Missouri. I completed the Doctor of Music at Indiana in '88 -- my third Big 10 school and degree. Jefferson has been good to me. In 2005/6 I was awarded the Foundation's "Award for Academic Excellence" in the Fall, and the "Gov...Expand for more
ernor's Award for Excellence in Teaching" in the Spring. I took the time to learn Spanish, and have presented professionally in Spanish in Mexico. I am twice past president of Toastmasters and District Champion speaker. My wife, Joan, and I live in Festus with our two daughters, Gretchen (20) and Breana (15).
