Matthew's Story
Almost immediately after H.S. graduation, I joined the USMC -1966-69. I was in Vietnam April â67 until May â68. Upon discharge from the USMC I attended several collages/universities eventually being awarded a BS in Civil Engineering (1977) and an MBA (1983). For the next 41 years I held several Civil/Structural Engineering positions focused primarily on bridges.

In 1988 I moved from Illinois to Wisconsin. I have been living in Poynette since 1990 and the last 15 years here with my current wife Betty and our 2 cats Pancho and Cisco. Betty has 2 children and we have 5 grandchildren all in Wisconsin.
I retired from the Wisconsin DOT in 2010 and retired from the US Forest Service in 2015.
