Maura's Story
After HS I attended LIU and Brooklyn Hospital School of Nursing til 63
Married in 64 and moved to Ohio 2 children and 7 years we divorced and I remarried in73 to Emil and built our home on the farm in Union City, Ohio a mile from the Indiana state line. Two more daughters. We are still here and working on turning the farm (1400 acres of grain corn, soybeans and wheat) over to our son-in-law Joe and his and Carmens (our baby) 2 boys Ben 6 and Daniel 3. farm managers in training.
I owned a small bridal Business for 17...Expand for more
years til 06 when I decided SS looked like an easier income.
We have 9 grand children and 1 great grand daughter 6mo old Baili, now in GA.
We have done some traveling across America (northern & southern) to Hawaii and Alaska.
Planning to spend our winters in Florida (Lake Placid) .
Happy to be re-connecting with so many friends we've lost contact with over the years.
Planning to attend Marywood's reunion in 2012 and haven't heard about Farmingdales class of 62 yet.
