Life I have been married to the same man since 1986 and have four beautiful daughters, ages 14,15,16 and 17. I have worked for the Elgin Police and Fire Department as a dispatcher for the last 10 years and prior to that I stayed at home to take care of our daughters. My husband fell 40 feet from our roof in 2000 and was gravely injured. He was unable to return to work, so I am the primary source of income for our household and I now have 2 in college (including him) and the other three are in catholic high school. I love my job as a dispatcher, and am on-call 24 hours a day as a Technical Response Team dispatcher. While not working, I attend 12-step recovery meetings in my area, belong to my local catholic church, spend time with by extended family, garden and sew, and try to keep my 100+ year old house from falling down around us! All in all, it has been a wild ride since high school graduation and I wouldn't have done a single thing differently. ****UPDATE 2007**** Well, It's been an exciting couple of years around here!
