Maureen's Story

Workplace I did teach in Okla. for a year (Binger) then my husband was commissioned and we did a bit of traveling and had our family. (three daughters) I did some substituting in Germany. After he left the service, we moved to Maryland where I worked at the American Red Cross in the Youth Services department. I taught first aid to kids and helped with the summ...Expand for more
er youth volunteering program. I also kept all the office records. When we went to California, I worked a year in the ARC placing volunteers in different areas. I didn't like that and ended up teaching at a Head Start for 9 years. One of my favorite jobs. I don't really work now but do volunteer a lot of time to my church, teaching and helping in other areas.
