Maureen's Story

Life Ive been married since 1983 to Chris, now a Captain with the Chicago Fire Dept. We have 3 kids, Michael, Theresa and Heather. We have a grandson Tristan Christopher born in August 2007. My daughter and Tristan live with us so we get to see him every day. Its a blessing to have him in our lives. We live in the Edison Park neighborhood and have been here for over 23 years. near Belding. My Mom died in 2002 after a 6 month fight with Ovarian Cancer. My brother and sisters live in the city all within 2 miles of our home. We get together often with our entire family. School After Belding I went to Alvernia and graduated in 1979. Then off to college in Dubuque Iowa, Loras College. In 1981 I returned to Chicago and went to school at Ravenswood Nursing School and graduated in 1983.
