Maureen's Story

After leaving Peace River I spent two years at NAIT. I got married and a year later my husband Warren and I went to Australia for a year and a half and lived in Perth. From Perth we lived in Singapore for a year and then in the Philippines for about 10 1/2 months. Our son was born there. We then moved back to Canada to Calgary...Expand for more
then built our own house in Okotoks. We then had a daughter. Employment took us to Edmonton where we have been ever since. I worked for Transport Canada for 10 years then as an Educational Assistant for special needs children for 18 years. I am now retired going on 3 years. Hopefully there will be more travel in the future.
