Maurice's Story
After I graduated I joined the Military (U.S. Army) I served 3 years active duty. I am also a Combat Veteran. I was involved in Desert Shield/Storm in 1990. I left the U.S Army in 1991. I also served six years in the Army Reserves. I did a little data entry and went to a vocational school for a while. I also managed two stores for awhile. I met my Wife in 1994. Africa. We were married August 15th 1998. It will be 10 years this August. We been together for 14 years total. I brought my house in March of 2000 in Burlington Township. We have been in Burlington for 8 years. I have two children. Maurice Jr. who is 9 years old and Jazzmyra who is 5 years old. I changed careers in September 2007. I'm now a State Correctional Officer. I work at New Jersey State Prison.
