Maurice's Story

Not much to say at the moment will get back latter. Hi i am back to continue writing my story which will take a long time. I went to St. Joes from September 1969 to June 1972 but I was missing some more courses so returned in the fall of 1972 and droped out shortly after. I graduated. I took one yoear off then went to the U of A for my degree. Hello from South Baghdad, Iraq. I am working on seismic crew2. From the beginning, I attended St. Patrick's Elementary and Junior High from 1960 to 1969. I did grade 1,2 and part of 3 as well as grade 4 and grade 6. Grade 3 was done in Lac La Biche, Alberta or part of it was done there. I attended Sacred Heart Elementary for Grade 5, that would be in 1965/1966, I was staying at the Sister's of Atonment convent for several months during that time. I attended St Mary's Salesian Junior High School from January 5,1967 to October 10,1968. I had Father Paul as the principal and my teachers were Brother Richard for academics, Brother Paul for carpentry. Brother Colleto taught me metallurgy. Brother Clem, he was the tall one, I can not remember what he t...Expand for more
aught us, maybe electronics. I transferred from St. Basil's school. Those were strange years. Hi again, after St. Mary's Salesian I returned to St. Patrick's for the rest of grade 8; October to June and all of Grade 9. After junior high school I went to St. Joes Composite High School for all of my high school. I took one year off to work at the Army and Navy store as well as several other jobs to save money for University and in the fall of 1973 enrolled at the U of A, but I was missing my Chemistry 30 and had to take that all over again-bummer, in the summer while I was working. After University I worked at the Alberta Research Council-Cloverbar pilot plant, for about a year. After that job I registered at BCIT for the Surveying and Mapping course that meant moving from Edmonton to Vancouver. I completed that in 1980 more or less and have been doing land surveying ever since in the Vancouver area and now I work overseas. I married a Philipina lady and have 1 daughter. I live in Vancouver. I lost contact with almost everyone I went to school with and am now searching for classmates.
