Mauro's Story

Life One dog and no kids. I am married, been married every since I graduated from cosmetology shool in 1990. After I got married my wife went to bootcamp and we have been moving around every 3 years since. I went back to school and got a BS degree in Biology with a monor of chemistry. My area of expertise is, in general, research. My last job was at a medical school. Among other things I did imunohistochemistry. Basically, I make tissue turn different colors so you can see whats/whats not there. I loved my job! I never got into doing PCR that much. Thats what I really want to do. I had to quit my job and move with my wife to Australia. Now I am just waiting to work again. School You should know...you were there. hehe College Loved it! got a BS in biology and chemistry. ears or so. When I got married and moved to San Diego I went to school and work on base cutting hair on the weekend. I got my AA in human biology there. Then I moved to Denver where I got my BS in biology/chemistry. I did histology and washed dishes for work. That is what you normally do when you start in labs without experience...dishes. Then I moved to Hawaii and got my first real job doing Autopy's (~250 of them) and histology work. Loved that job! Then it was off to Virgina as a project coordinator. Basically, I knew how to do research, I had to show them what they needed to do so they could get their fellowships. My most recent job is doing imunohistochemistry (histology) in another lab down the hall. Now I am in Australia. You guessed it, a military move. I am in the middle of know where with no job. Right now I am looking for a job in the states, maybe back to killeen, because I will be seperating with my wife.
