Max's Story
So here we are, 50 years old!!! That's funny, because I don't feel old (except the part where I can't run around like a kid anymore). I've been blessed with good health all these years. A couple of years ago, I rode my bike around Lake Tahoe!
As far as work goes, I was a satellite design engineer for over 20 years, involved in many exciting projects. For the last 9 years, I've been engineering a variety of miniature medical devices. I find it very challenging, but very rewarding when I think of how these new devices are helping people in big ways that were not available to us just a few years ag...Expand for more

I got married in the mid-80's and divorced in the mid-90's. Damn, that hurt.
I grew my hair long in the 90's and played the fiddle in a rock band. Amongst the bands we covered were REO, Marshall Tucker, Doobies, Green Day, ELP, CSNY, Skynard and some originals. Who knew a violin could be played all roughed up?
Lately, I've been taking care of my house and garden with my old hound dog, Portia. I bought a boat a few years ago and have been fishing out of Santa Cruz. Even if I don't catch fish, the view out in the ocean is always different and always tremendous.
