Maxine's Story
Life
In 1981 went into the US Army. Became a Military Police Officer. From 1984 - 1987 worked as a Correctional Officer at the Albany County Jail. HAD to get out of that. Flitted around a bit, went back to college, good 'ol Hudson Valley. Found a position available for the New York Lottery. From January 1989 - June 1994 was a full-time on-air drawings emcee. Had my daughter, Roxanne, in February 1994. Decided I didn't want to work nights, weekends and holi...Expand for more
days anymore. Took a position with the Lottery in the Public Relations office. I now bring the Lottery millionaires to thier press conferences. One year after I left the Drawings Unit, I went back part-time. So now, in addition to my full-time gig, I'm working those nights, weekends and holidays again. Go figure. But I love having the opportunity to get back in front of the camera every now and then.
I'm divorced and raising my daughter as a single parent.
