Maya's Story
Life
I married my husband, Joe Shaw, in 1993. We met at Rutgers. We have lived all over the country in Chicago, Atlanta, San Fran bay area, and are now here in Texas in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Thankfully, it looks like we're settling here, at least for now. We have 2 children: Zachary (born in Jan 2002) and Samuel (born in Aug 2004). They're awesome!

rk for IBM doing spatial analysis (anything that has a location) for business solutions, like where would the best place be to put a new McDonald's, but once I became a mom, I stayed home with my kids and loved it (except for an occasional bad day!). Now, I work FT again as a GIS (Geographic Information System) Technician. I help to maintain maps of some Texas counties.
