Sarah's Story
I grew up in Bedford In. I went to Shawswick, Needmore and Oolitic Jr. High (Springsvalley for 1st grade). My 9th and 10th grade years I went to Shoals school while I lived with my dad. I started working the summer I turned 15 and liked it so much I decided to get my GED (Bad idea, but we live and we learn). I had a couple of jobs here and there, then Oct. of 2001 I started working at the Times Mail in Bedford. I started seeing a guy named Marty who had a daughter, Jan. 24 of 2002. April 4th 2002 I lost my dad to a cancerous brain tumor, and also became pregnant. Sept. 2002 I moved in with Marty. I worked until Nov. then decided it was time to take it easy before the baby came. Our 1st son was born Feb. 4 of 2003. We were married 7/11/03 (so the date would be easy to remember, although our 4th ann. was completely forgotten by both of us until the day after!). started taking online college courses Oct. of 2004. I went to work at the Bedford Goodwill in May of 2006, July of 2006 I decided to take a break from school. I moved up to Keyholder/Supervisor March of 2007. By Sept. I was sick of that place and sick of the manager (she was something else!) so I quit. The next day I had to rush my hubby to the ER and 3 hours later he was in surgeory to get his appendix taken out. I have been home ever sense. I sell on Ebay, also have a booth at a flea market. I won't be going back to work for a few years, my boys need me home right now and I would rather be home with them and working out of the house than anything. My step daughter is 18 and is going off to college in August, my oldest son will be going to Kindergarten in August, and my youngest will be going to HeadStart for his 2nd year in August.
