Mechelle's Story
I spent most of my life trying to leave my home town always thinking I'd never get out..didn't think I'd ever be homesick. I now have 3 grown sons, all make me very proud, the youngest is 17. I have a wonderful nursing career and love my job, my new hometown is Panama City, FL and I don't know if I'll ever move back "home". I love to visit and miss the good times I had with my friends. My best friend for life Kristie still lives in Winter Garden, which is the main reason...Expand for more
I visit as much as possible. We've been friends forever and are more like sisters. And "yes" I get homesick alot and thought I'd move back when the kids were grown, but things don't always turn out they way you expect it, sometimes it turns out better!! I'm not afraid of getting old or grandchildren, however, I can wait a little longer for both!! To quote a famous country music singer "I feel way too young to be this old." I still feel like I've just started High School.
