Melanie's Story
Life
Hey! After graduating in 1978 I went to Purdue for 2 years and then came home and went to IUPUI. I got an Associate in 1982, waitressed and supervised at different restaurants, did some partying and soul searching, got married in 1986, and therefore became an instant Mom to 2 stepchildren. I went back to college and got a Bachelor's Degree in 1992 and worked at The Adam's Mark in Management. I became pregnant and quit working. I now have a 12-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son and I am still married to my very loving husband. I have regularly attended Ben Davis Christian ...Expand for more
Church since 1995 and I found a parttime job at their preschool where both of my children went. I worked at the preschool, God's Treasures Preschool, for eight years and I was the Director of the preschool for over 5 years. I love working with kids and I love helping them develop a solid base for learning and helping them to find out that learning can be fun. I recently started working at Ben Davis High School in the cafeteria and in catering. I am hoping to get into Management soon. Oh! and by the way my two stepkids are now 33 and 28. Boy do the years fly by! Happiness to all!!!
