Melanie's Story
Well, life has handed me some lemons,and I'm still trying to make that lemonade, but overall, life has been pretty good to me. I,like a lot of us back then, thought I had the answers to everything about life and decided to jump right into having a family at 19! And yup, you guessed it, I didn't have all the answers and I didn't expect to be a widow at 32 trying to raise two young kids by myself.

made it through some of the darkest times and came out even stronger. Financial good fortune is not something I've known over the past 20+ yrs., but I consider myself more fortunate than others for some of the things I do have and have had.
I am still seriously thinking about going back to school to obtain some sort of degree, that's if this old brain can keep up with all the new stuff the kids today are learning.
I hope life has been good to all of you as well.
