Melanie's Story
Life
After graduation, I was married and began college. Life was very busy, so I was only able to take a class or so every term. Eventually, I earned my B.S. from Portland State University in Social Science. In 2000, I gave birth to my oldest Son, Elijah. In 2002, my husband and I divorced after nearly 8 years of marriage. I completed my Graduate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008. I own my own practice, specializing in Child and Family Therapy--and am lucky to absolutely love my work. About to celebrate 13 years of marriage with my incredible better half, and our boys are growing quicker than we ever imagined.
Life is blissfully hectic and chaotic, and I am truly blessed.
