Melanie's Story
I came to Hueytown High School in the year of 1989 after my family moved to Hueytown. I was a quiet girl back then and in my own eyes not the best looking. I know there were others that felt differently, but I was a fool back then. I was in Students Against Drunk Driving.
After we graduated in 1990, I went on with my life and just basically worked for a living. I suffered my way through relationship after relationship. Some were good, some were great, some were bad, some were terrible and some were downright horrifying.
Going forward to 2003 when I met my husband. We were both working for the same company and I ended up being one of the instructors in his training class. We went out one night to watch WWE PPV...Expand for more
together at Hooters and started dating after that.
On Valentine's Day 2004 he asked me to marry him and I said yes. On August 21, 2004 I married the love of my life, Richard Jason McClinton. We were married for 3 years when in 2007 I found out I was pregnant with our first child. Corwin James McClinton was born on December 3, 2007. Almost 2 years went by when I found out in spring of 2009 that I was pregnant with our second child. On January 6, 2010, Fiona Michelle McClinton was born.
I am very happy with my life right now. I married the man of my dreams and have 2 of the most beautiful children anyone could ever ask for. We have a dog named Sammy and a cat named Pippin. That is pretty much my story for now.
