Melanie's Story
We moved from the Bay Area to North Carolina in 1987 for a two year stint....we are still here! I raised my son as a southern boy and have come to appreciate the slower pace here. I own a small business and have worked many years of 7 day weeks getting it to where I feel comfortable leaving it. At present, we are adding another location in a town about 20 miles away. At a time when I would like to be slowing down, I am, again, gearing up for a new experience.

ree in Culinary Arts and is currently living and working in the Sonoma Area. You may remember my sister, Beth. She is still in the Bay Area and I try to visit her often which gives me the chance to see my son as well. I love California, but would never want to live there again.
I dont think about high school much, only when I get an email from Classmates usually. I am definitely one of those people who say, "If I only knew then what I know now." But in the end, I realize the journey is what makes us who we are and that's OK with me. I hope your journey so far has been a good one. :)
