Melanie's Story
Just moved from North Virginia (D.C. area) to Navarre, FL in the Florida panhandle. Michael is doing his second non-volunteer year long tour at Osan AFB in Korea, then he comes here to Hurlburt Field. His first tour was 14 years ago not long after we got married. A lot of differences now from then. We have 3 children now, ages 14,11 and 3. We have lived in South Dakota, California, Virginia and now Florida since then. We also just bought our first home :) and only live about 2 1/2 blocks from the Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico right beyond that. We will see how that goes once we experience our first hurricane! Fingers crossed ~

Not working right now in the normal sense that I get up every morning and go in somewhere. Michael and two friends started a business last year, Arctic Moon Studios. They design and develop games mostly but also do other things. Their first game (Michael's baby) is Bloodletting.org an internet based role-play game. Right now I am taking over some of Michael's admin duties since he isn't here. They are all busy working on at least 3 new games that will hopefully launch before the end of 2008.
Have to get new passports for myself and kids but we hope to go to Korea either over Christmas break or Spring Break to visit Michael, sight see and of course go shopping! For now though we are just enjoying being back on the coast and go to the beach as often as we can!
