Melayna's Story
Well I don't think it would surprise anyone who knew me that I turned out to be a therapist. I've been working with troubled teenagers for almost 20 years now. But I think it would crack up a whole lot of people to know that I am now a CADC (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor)! Yep, me, the one who went away for 3 months for drug & alcohol treatment in my junior year of high school! Seriously though, I love my job. & I've worked with just about every population you can think of from juvenile sex offenders to severely abused & neglected wards of the state.
I moved to TN after leaving Houston but I'm living in IL now & have been for about 7 years now. I miss the south I must say.
I would love to reconnect with some old friends, particularly Mark Turnley. We kept in touch for a long time after high school but then just sort of lost each other. Anyone heard from him??
