Life
Hey, everybody!
My name is Melenie Ottosen, but back in the 80's I was Melenie Sayyeau. I attended Rainier Beach High School in Seattle Washington as a Sophomore in 1984-1985.
After leaving Rainier Beach, I received my GED, so I consider the year I spent there my "unofficial senior year". I attended Highline Community College in Des Moines, Washington for two years. I majored in Accounting, and really loved it, but circumstances beyond my contorl forced me to put the rest of my education on hold until quite recently. I am now working towards a degree in Secondary Education with a emphasis on Mathematics. It's been both exciting and challenging returniong to school. I decided to put my info on Classmates.com because I recently got a wild hair to look up the people I was close to in High School and see where life has taken them over the past 20 years. I was able to find a few old friends here, so I figured I'd write a bit about myself and see who I might be able to get responses from.
I stayed in Washington State until 1993. I moved to Minnesota for four years, then back to Washington in 1997. In May of 2002, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona. In June of 2002, I married a wonderful man named Matt. We have no children, but look forward to starting a family in the near future.
