Melinda's Story
Still living in Louisiana. Working for the local government as a Accountant and Manager for the last twelve years. Celebrated my 21st wedding anniversary this year. Who knew someone I met in 8th grade would turn out to be my life long love and best friend. Too bad we didn't know that before we married other people first, LOL. We share two daughters, the oldest is married with 2 beautiful children. The youngest one just came back home to live and go to nursing school. Husband retired a couple of years ago from the Police Dept. Now he divides his time between taking care of us, his mom and my parents, and spending time at our house on the lake. the premier fishing lakes in the country. We spend as much time as we can there fishing for whatever is in season: bass, croppy, perch. The other thing I've really been involved in over the last ten years is the American Poolplayers Association. I'm playing league 8 ball pool one night a week and competing in regional tournaments a couple of times a month. Pretty good for an "old gal". I competed over the summer for a place in the National Single Championships but was knocked out in the final round of play. I'm still striving to make it next year though. That's the current update on my life. Its a good one I think. I do what I can, I want what I have and I like who I am. Can't ask for more than that.
