Melinda's Story
After high school, I went to work for Lee Memorial Hospital as a Pharmacy Technician, while going to school at Edison.
A year later, I met my husband, who also worked for Lee Memorial (that's where we met) and two years later, we were married. (Too young? I don't think so. When you find the perfect mate, why keep searching?)
In 1996, we moved to Tampa so I could continue my education at USF (Go Bulls!). While there, I worked for Walgreens (As what? A Pharmacy Technician) and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. (But not as a Pharmacy Technician, unless they started selling drugs.)
We moved back to Cape Coral in 1998 and I finished my degree, while my husband went to FGCU. I went to work for Cape Coral Hospital, after we moved back, as a Pharmacy Technician (again!). I graduated in 1999 with a BA in English/Creative Writing.

mber of 2000, our first son was born (my Christmas present) and I decided to stay home and be a full time mom. That was also the time, when we decided that we would homeschool him and any subsequent children, when the time came.
In June of 2003, our second son was born (my Birthday present). Still no girl, but they are truly my blessings.
Then, in late January 2007, our third son was born (my...let's see...Valentine's present). No girl! Well...for some reason, God wants me to be a mother of boys and I wouldn't have it any other way. They are all precious to me. But they better give me grand-daughters!!! Just kidding. As long as they are healthy, we take what God gives us.
I have recently been elected to serve of the Board of Elders at our Church. So I stay pretty busy.
So that's my story. And I love every minute of it.
